World peace is a misnomer. There has always been war on the earth, and there will be war long after we are gone from it. It is a sad truth that war is part of human nature. I would love it if the whole world could get along, but let's be honest, most of can't even get along with our neighbors and co-workers, much less the rest of the world.

I think the American troops should come back home because they shouldn't be in Iraq anyway. World peace is a wonderful dream, but is something that might be impossible to attain. There are too many power-hungry people in the world that won't allow everyone their breathing room. The troops in Iraq are supposed to be creating peace. Why is it that the news is full of reports of more dead? Yes, the American troops should come home.

World peace is a concept, not a reality. It will probably never happen. In fact, I am pretty sure the world will only get worse. Not because I want it to happen, but because we are moving further and further away from world unity. We don't even have unity within the state, so why would we expect that bringing troops home would suddenly mean peace? Peace will come when America minds its own business.

The idea of world peace is nice, but really? I don't believe there is any possibility of "world peace". I suppose it depends on what you consider peaceful. I think people should not fight if the possibility of injury is a factor. So, yes, all American troops should come back home. Put them on the streets here...keep America safe.

There will be more bloodshed if we leave now. This is a crucial point in the war. Al-quida in iraq is at a transition of leaders and the new guy is trying to make a name for himself with violence. The Iraqi's aren't strong enough to handle their owncountry yet. Not to mention, withdrawing our troops won't create world peace. There are wars all over the world.

US troops are there representing the civilized world. If you want them to come back you should help their job by educating through media about peaceful existance and respect of people rights . Holly wood and musicians and artists should spread these messages. Instead American people are making things more worse by painting US as intruders.

Sending American troops home is not the key to world peace. Terrorism will still ensue, North Korea will continue to be a problem, civil wars will keep raging in Africa. . .

In order for there to be world peace, the WHOLE world would have to stop warring... remember, just because the americans are in iraq, doesnt mean that is the only place fighting is going on.. remember the small nations that are warring even amongst themselves.

To achieve peace sometimes requires War.
I think the only peace that the Muslim land will get is when they are rid of all of the terrorist that claim to represent Muslims and the Islamic Faith.
I may not agree who Mohammad was, or with the entire Islamic Faith, but I respect them. I also know that the majority of Muslims do not believe what the terrorist are for, unless they have been brainwashed. Mosaic Law, which is the primary law of the Islamic faith, is violated with terrorist.
