I'd broil up a couple of New York strips and throw together a salad. The salad is easy with all the ingredients pre-chopped for you now in grocery store. Then top off the meal with a simple dessert like strawberry shortcake or something store bought & easy. My boyfriend is a truck driver and eat out allot on the road so a meal like this one is just what he needs when he is home. He really appreciates someone taking the time to cook for him!

Well, my fave meal is easy to cook (probably why it's my fave!) I woould definitely cook it myself, because I think that is so much nicer, putting all the thought and love into the cooking.
I would start with smoked salmon, with a little lemon and parsley.
And some champagne or fizzy white wine.
then I would cook steak with some red wine, potato wedges and salad.
then a delicious chocolate cheesecake (might cheat on this one)
or fresh fruit salad and cream (can prepare this myself)
And then a lovely creamy coffee with Tia Maria.
MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I love chicken fajitas and think I make them the best!
I love cooking so if someone is coming for dinner I get more of a buzz out of cooking rather than cheating (phoning take-out) I enjoy the whole ritual of preparing food, making it look really appetising. Of course the glass of wine and gossip over the bubbling pans is also fun too!

since i do know how to cook and just don't like to, i would actually cook; especially if it was for a guy i really liked. i would cook according to what the person likes. the last time i cooked for someone i made collard greens, yellow rice, shrimp pasta salad (my mom actually made that), baked and fried chicken. My favorite thing to cook is Chicken Parm. on a bed of linguine pasta, and have bread and some sort of vegetable with it. you also have to have something good to drink with it. When it comes to desserts i will make a banana pudding, other than that i will cheat 'cause i don't bake.

I love cooking. My favorite meal is taking lemon peppered salmon fillet and putting in the oven for 3 hours at 250 degrees. I like to make Caesar salad and homemade croutons. I finish it by cooking a few baked potatoes in the microwave.

I'm not a wonderful cook but I can do some things from scratch and theres always chilled or frozen items from a supermarket.
There is no excuse for anyone to not be able to cook I don't mean pies, pastries etc just normal, decent food it's just too easy and you can even use pre packaged chicken fillets for example and just cook your own potatoes.

I do not normally make my favorite meal necessarily I ask the family what they want. I am always being complimented on my cooking so I do it myself. As for the new things as the saying goes practice makes perfect. I am always up for new ideas. And I always continue with them til I get it right! (From my loved ones point of view that is.)

Fried eggplant casserole. Haven't ever seen it in a shop, so I'd have to make it. It's like eggplant parmagiana, but it is made like a lasagna in a casserole dish with cheese and sauce layers, then baked. To make it work, you need to slice, salt and press the eggplant for a good 24 hours to get rid of all the water in it.
