If you want to do this it is for life so you need to totally change your way of eating and exercising. This is not a diet rather than a healthy eating plan for life. So no more talking diet cause it means time limit.
Here are the golden rules:
Initially cut down to 1200 (women) - 1500 (men) calories.
Exercise 6 times per week for 1 hours a day. Do three weight sessions and three cardio sessions. No gym involved if you don't have the access.
Don't eat carbs after 4pm, never eat carbs within 2 hours of exercise or within 1 hour of exercise.
Drink 3 litres of water per day. You can have a green tea at the end of the day.
Limit your fruit in take to 2 pieces per day.
Never eat dinner after 6pm.
Adopt of low GI eating plan this is sustainable for life!
Make low fat dairy choices
Follow this menu plan as a suggestion:
Breakfast 7am - 1 cup hot water w lemon
20 minutes later have a bowel of oats w water (no honey) OR
fruit salad w low GI soy yogurt
Snack 10am - pear or apple (both low GI)
Lunch 12.30pm - muligrain sandwich w 50g tuna & salad (no butter)
Snack 3pm - low GI yogurt OR skim berry smoothie (no honey or banana) plenty of ice, 1/2 cup skim milk & 1/4 cup yogurt
Dinner 5.30pm - 120g grilled lean meat/fish/prawns/tofu patties (not fried) w spinach salad & mixed vegies (no whites, carbs) OR 3 egg white/soy omlette with ham, cheese and tomato
Snack - 1 scoop of low cal low fat ice cream (if hungry)
Exercise is must be intense. Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for your weights routine. Never do weights two consecutive days have a cardio day in between.
Cardio needs to include running, go hard up stair wells and cycling. If you have access to a gym include boxing and spin classes as well. You get the most benefits from exercise when your body is totally fatigued and this is when you see changes.
To maintain you can increase calories to 1500 (women) - 1800 (men) and reduce exercise sessions to 3-4 times per week. If weight creeps up again due to holiday period etc.. go back to 1200 (women) - 1500 (men) cal and 6 sessions again.
Good luck it worked for me it can work for anyone.

Obviously it takes a good amount of planning, preparation, and persistence to get into the habit of eating this frequently. When you're on a six meals a day diet you must prepare your food well ahead of time. Every meal should contain good carbs, lean protein, and healthy fats in about a 40:30:30 ratio. No, it's certainly not "easy" - but once you get into the habit of preparing your meals in advance and eating delicious, healthy food every few hours you'll see some amazing changes.

You'll also feel a lot better!
Many fitness pros - including top bodybuilders and fitness models - manage to get in six meals per day by cooking a lot of healthy food (ie chicken breast, steamed vegetables, brown rice, etc.) one day per week, putting each meal into a Tupperware container, and then taking a few meals with them to work each day.
Also, most people who follow a six meals a day diet make use of 'portable' foods like whey protein powder, meal replacement powders, protein bars, canned tuna/chicken, beef/turkey jerky, nuts, seeds, etc. Protein shakes especially are considered indispensable by most bodybuilders, many of whom drink at least 2 or 3 each day!

Eating six meals a day is great if you stay away from meat, dairy and fat. Then you can eat all you want and not gain weight. You will also get terribly healthy. It has been prov en people get of BP meds in 4 days, Arthritis pain gone in six days. and the list goes on. I've done it myself - it works. In 5 weeks I lost 22 pounds and the Doc could not understand where my high blood pressure went, simple I hadn't taken a pill in 4 weeks. After a two minute pause, and totally confused, the Doc said, Well, just keep doing what your doing. And oh ya, all the arthritis pain in my fingers was gone.

The South Beach Diet allows you to eat 5 to 6 meals a day. It really works. I know several people who have lost 20 - 30 pounds in 1-2 months.

2 people, six days: buy stuff on sale, generic or specials. Every store has them, at all times. 3lbs chicken is all the protein you need = $6-8 (chicken legs, grill or baked) Bread = $2.50 2lbs Pasta = $2.00 on sale Bean or Rice 1lb = $2.00 3-4lbs of fresh fruit = $5-8 2 Heads Lettuce = $3.00 2 lbs vegis = $4 Peanut Butter = $2.50 2 jars marinara sauce = $4 roughly $30, adjust as needed. this is enough for 3 meals a day, if frugal it can happen if necessary. People can spend a fortune in the store if they buy prepared food, packaged foods, or non-fresh frozen food. Frugality is on the outer edges of the supermarket. Make all your food, and save a bundle.

Moondragon hypoglycemic diet. I typed in hypoglycemic diet and found this. It tells you about 6 meals a day, and what exchanges to eat. Some of the other sites listed specific foods.

eat six meals that are the size of your fist. your fist is the size of your stomach. you wont stretch your stomach it will fill it and you need to drink lots of water 10 is daily normal weight loss is more then 10 8oz glass's. for filler eat iceberg lettuce (a rabbit will starve to death on iceberg lettuce alone) popcorn plain. eat as little salt as possible. dairy products including milk has loads of salt in it. you can have a chicken breast with mushrooms and broccoli. I love it. baked potato with 1/4 chicken breast cooked with lemon pepper, and broccoli floret's. great! grill fish in foil with lime or lemon and pepper, it is really good to. I know you can get a million recipes on the web like weight watchers or something else. But I believe if you use your own creativity it will be best. fresh fruit salsas, and fresh raw veggies or lightly steamed fresh chicken breast or fish grilled or broiled will be awesome. Good luck and good eats. remember the size of your fists and no more per meal. Smiles ;)

If you cut each of the 3 meals in half and spread them out over the hours you eat, you will have 6 meals.
