I have a breeding pair of "Dwarf Turtle Doves", they have one young, of normal colouring, and one 1 week old who has red eyes, pure pink skin and pure white feathers.

Is an albino of this species very unusual? I have never come accross one before...

They're fairly common I think. It's a genetic condition, so the parents must have had the genes. It is likely that your breeding pair will have more albino young.
