If I had the chance to go anywhere to watch a fight, where should I go and what fight should I see?

Well of course the U.S. is the best place to catch a good fight but since your asking about other countries i'm gonna assume your meaning anywhere else except the U.S. well Germany is a good boxing country but they usually are homers and typically only root for the German fighters, European fighters and in that order. England is also a good place to catch a fight but they are just like Germany and only root for the hometown guy, not many places root the better fighter so if you had to choose one go with Australia, very little known but great fights (not fighters) and the fans are usually into most fights regardless of who fights also Mexico, fights are sometimes real exciting, better yet go to Mexico instead of Australia, not many Heavyweight fights but their is alot of excitment.

Thai boxing is my first choice for several reasons;
1. Prefight activities are entertaining
2. Superticious beliefs and cultural traditions ( Fate, Amulets, charms and fortune tellers) play an important role in Thai attitudes in sports. Boxers always pay respect to Budda before a bout.
3. Genuine sportsmanship between the boxers, before, during and after the bout. You'll never hear a Thai boxer make an insulting remark about another boxer.
4. Genuine appreciation from the contenders to the fans, they always "wai" the audience and express their gratitude.
5 The nature of "kick boxing" requires more endurance, more coordination and more boxing skills than regular boxing.

Boxing: Mexico (lighter weight classes, but great speed and excitment for a live match. Vegas fights are all corporate, fixed and boring)
Kick Boxing/ Mui Thai: Bankok
Shoot Wrestling: Japan
MMA: Japan, Osaka
Vale Tudo MMA: Brazil (best fighters in the world)

There are many places in which you can watch boxing events.

Las Vegas, is the most popular place in the United States, but if you are looking for something better you can go to Japan to watch the Kung-Fu fights...

But Las Vegas is the best place to me, you can log on to www.hboppv.com and you'll get more info about it.
