How can one know when someone truly loves him

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me is...
(L)isten: and Validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

I read a question before where a 16 year old was asking about love, infatuation, or a crush. He said he had feelings about this girl. He would be doing something and she would pop into his mind. Being in love is a feeling that is different for everyone. I would define love as being happy with someone, sharing the same values, feeling that feeling you just can't explain when you can't be with them, always wanting to share news with them and hear how their day went. Being in love means you are interested in your life with this person. Everything matters to you!
I can't really explain love all that well, you will just know. If you are apart from that person, you will just feel lost if you really do love them.

It's not something one explains fully, since people feel differently.
However, when one is comfortable with another.
Being able to give freely and receive freely.... feelings of joy, affection, warmth, tenderness, and concern between both individuals. To like another, as much as one likes oneself.

True love can manifest the love in action. Love without action is death similar to body without spirit is death. The one whom you love or who love you must demonstrate his/her love by action. Love is life if you miss love, you miss life.

you know when everything you do reminds you of that person, and a smile comes to yo face, yo heart skips three beats at the sound of his/her name, you can't go a day without wanting to talk to them and when yo get to yo true love all you want to do is hold them so tight they can't breathe and never let them go.
