Because the Bible was created by people. It is not straight from the lips of God. Therefore it has as many versions as there were people interested in writing about it.

Its not about translations, its more about interpretations.
Russian or ortodox bible has no ehternal hell. Its only Anglican and Catolic. African ( Ethiopia bible) which predates Canon Bible of 397 has mroe scriptures and has GOspel of Mary in it. THere are many variations of Bibles basicly because ppl could not agree from start what should be in the bible and why. BIble officialy was accembled from 66 ( i think) books in 397 AD by 3 bishops. It had nothing to do GOD word or anything. THey just simply pick up scriptures they liked and refused others on some reasons.
There are some bibles that have more scriptures in it . I forgot the name but i know it oncludes Gospel of Jesus and Gospel of Piter. English speaking ppl would not even know that they are BIbles that have more books. Thier idea is that only King James knows what bible is. Its hard to ask Cristians about other bibles since they bearly read one and would not even think that there is pocibilities of otehrs.
Therefore GOD exists.
But one thing for sure to notice that old T is always the same in every version of Bible except one where Gospel of jebel ( don't quoe me on this i am mispell the name) which is explaning the creation story but it reased more questions than answers.
And for Cristian bible there is a GOspel of TOmas , infancy of Jesus but Church decide not to include in Bible.
THerefore GOd exists

Some versions are easier to interpret than others. For example, the KJV is the closest translation to how the Bible was originally written and a lot of people prefer to study from that. However, the NIV is a more simplified version and easier to understand, which is popular as well.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by versions, however I can say that there are the different versions that I know of so that different people can understand it. There are also versions out there in different languages so that ALL people around the world can experience the word of God for themselves. All you need to do is find a bible believing church where there is a pastor who preaches right from the word of God and doesn't apologize for it. If you pray for God to help you He will guide you to the right place.

The original of the Bible was written by different men, but it was authored by God. The Old Testament was written in the Hebrew language and the New Testament was written in the Greek language.
Since that time many committees and individuals have translated the Bible into English.
Over time, as scholars have learned more about the two ancient languages, they have made changes to how the English translations should be written.

Because language is a complex thing. Our language is always changing. One hundred years ago if someone said something was "cool" it would be understood that it was cold in temperature. Today, we would understand that the person is saying that it is something they like or find interesting. As language changes, we need to update the Bible into a language easier understood. Also, interpretation of the Bible is often based on our understanding of the time period and culture in which it was written. As we learn more about that, it sometimes changes how we understand something to be translated.

As the bible was first in the Greek language ,translators wanted to make the bible known and understood in different languages. So more and more translators translated the bible in different versions ,some to simplify the language in it .
eg the New International Version

They are trying to simplify the words in the bible so everyone will understand it, but if you really try you can understand the KJV,
My opinion every time the make another versions it loses text
If a person is not a believer, and been saved, they are not going to understand and believe the bible anyway, so them trying to make is easy not really working

Mostly because the english language has changed. Many people use the King james Bible, but now days we don't use the thee and thou at all and there are some of the verb tenses that are not used. Just like the word gay used to be happy.
