The well-preserved sections of the Great Wall in Beijing are China's most famous tourist site. These sections are mainly the remains from the Ming Dynasty, an era of tremendous construction. The wall runs across the northern part of Beijing for over six hundred kilometers with various passes and towers. The mainly sections include Badaling, Simatai, Jinshanling, Mutianyu, Gubeikou, Huanghuacheng and Jiankou.

it stretches over a vast area in china, though most people visit parts of the wall outside of beijing. most places are rebuilt for tourist purposes, such as the badaling section. a good section where you can get an experience of the wall that does not look as if it were built yesterday for tourists is the simiatai section of the wall....located about 3 hours outside of beijing.

It streches over a large area of china, but most people go to Beijing to visit the Great Wall. Badaling, right outside of Beijing is the area most people go to.

Wow, it stretches from Yalu River and ends at the foot of snow-covered Qilianshan and Tianshan(mountains).
Basically, the eastern part, it is near to Korean, and the western part, near to Kazastan.
But most people only visit the one near Beijin.
Great wall is not like Berlin wall, and can go to Check Point Chalie to view. It is VERY VERY VERY LONG.
