I think I am in love with this guy I have known for a few years. When I kissed him there was definitely something there-it was electric, WOW like nothing before. The problem is that it will be year before I see him again and he lives in the states whereas I live in the UK. How do I know if its meant to happen?HELP!!

If its meant to happen then it will. Ask him how he feels and if he wants a long distance relationship. Maybe if it works out then you could relocate in a few years. In the end one of you will have to do that because you can't build a life with someone who lives somewhere else.It could be that he never wants to move away from america-if so you will have to decide if you can move. you need to have a conversation about whether you have a chance of making this relationship work.

First of all, I'm sure you don't want to hear it, but I don't think you love him if all you think is that the kiss you shared was amazing. As sad as it sounds a lot of people can have a fantastic kiss with someone that they are not in love with; I know. If you really do love him because of other reasons, though, it won't have to survive, it will simply never go away, no matter if it is 1 year or 10. However, be advised, that no matter how long you speak on the phone, or email, you will only be so much in love with the current him that has changed while you are apart and in love with the past him that you really got to interract with face to face. It's not doomed, but this type of love needs more patience and hard work than any other. Make sure he feels the same and is worth it before you invest yourself into a risky venture of this kind. You are betting with your heart.

You have to bear it.I am in a long distance relationship and we meet just once in a year.But i can manage it as our goal is to marry.Hopefully after 2 years.So its like light at the end of the tunnel.But to be frank if you just want physical relationship then move on coz in a long distance relationship you have to sacrifice the physical involvement and connect on an emotional level.And its just too frustrating at times!Hope this helps.

Well if your relationship can survive a long distance then its definatly made to last! :) If he feels the same about you as you have said you do about him then i have no doubt itll last! :)
