I'm very tired today as well as my boss. We can't figure out why but we thought maybe it was all the summer humidity in air. Any insight?!

I don't drink caffeine in the mornings - and I got the usual amounts of sleep that I always get. I also don't have allergies.

What company do you work for. I never want to buy a thing from them!

Humidity making yous sleepy..there's a new one. How about the fact that you didn't get enough sleep last night. Maybe there is some enviornmental issue with your building. Allergies, you are tired from a long week. The caffeine you had this morning wore off.

Yes it is the humidity in the summer air. Heat drains energy from a person.

Remember the common summer complaint: It's not the heat, it's the humidity? If excess humidity is a problem, consider a dehumidifier

Yes, humidity can make you sleepy.. The heat zaps your energy and physically exhausts you because the heat is forcefully making you body work extra hard to perspire, keep your body temperature cool and keep you in motion.

If it's cloudy (causing humidity) then it could be lack of sunlight making you sleepy. Lack of sun causes serotonin levels to decrease and melatonin levels to increase. These hormonal changes can make us feel sluggish and sleepy.

It varies from person to person. I do get sleepy when it's humid, but my cousin gets sleepy when it's cold.
