Where is the best place on-line to buy Riedel Glasses...and has anyone ever heard of Ravenscroft Crystal?

Believe it or not, you can buy them at Target or Bed, Bath and Beyond. You can also try William Sonoma.

Buy the from where you get the best deal.
Look in good department stores and wine shops and online shops. If you are not in a hurry, wait for the sales. Keep an eye on wine discussion boards like Wine Lovers Discussion Group - http://www.wineloverspage.com/forum/village/ - as users often flag bargain prices (they reported Amazon were selling some Riedels at a bargain price a while ago).
And buy some spares because its certain you'll have breakages.

Not knowing where you are I can't suggest exact locations but if you go to http://www.riedel.com and select "Retailers" (across the top) after you have selected your preferred language, it will show you where in your area to find the glasses.
By the way, another glass company that makes specific glasses for specific wines is called Spiegelau (http://www.spiegelau.com) and they tend to be cheaper in price than Riedel for the same quality of glass.
