Read this book: "J.O.B.: A Comedy of Justice" by Robert A. Heinlein. You will never think of heaven without laughing.

Christians won't have time for jokes and fun. They'll be spending eternity on their knees, continuously praising Jesus and telling him what a great guy he is and how much they adore him and love him and want to be his bestest friends forever...and ever....and ever....
Of course, they'll also have the knowledge that some of their friends and family are in hell, suffering unimaginable torments for infinity, screaming and screaming and screaming with no hope of relief, and I imagine that will put a damper on any happiness they might feel. Kinda hard to crack jokes knowing that your atheist mother is burning in hell.

The kingdom of god is coming to earth with Christ's return.
Heaven does not exist.
Dead people await resurrection to this coming kingdom.
