If I am at home...I like to have Diet Sprite and Crown Royal. But if I am going out, then a Rum and Diet coke. However, studies have shown that Diet sodas make the alcohol more profound because of the artificial sweetners. They did a report about it on my local news station. They said that it makes the alcohol enter your system faster. But I think it tastes good :)

The problem with alcohol isn't the fat, but the carbs! Your body breaks down alcohol into sugars.
However, Diet Coke and Captain Morgans is my poison of choice.

Miller Lite -- only 93 calories. Vodka and diet cranberry juice. Gin and Tonic is pretty low calorie. Michelob Ultra (but I don't like it). Stay away from Baileys-type cream drinks or dark beers. You're pretty safe with Rum and Diet coke also.

Diet Sprite and Coconut Rum (Around 60-70 calories an oz. which is pretty good for alcohol)
Plus this combination tastes like a white freezie. Yummy =)
