Hello I need some help. I need to answer the question for an assignment. I'm havin a hard time finding a reliable source that can possibly give me answers to my questions. The research topic is the Kyoto Protocol by the way. I would like to know, in depth, about air pollution and CO2 emissions. If you cite a reliable source, that would really save my life. Thank you.

Do some web searches on:

CO2, atmosphere, global warming
Air pollution.
Air contaminants.
Toxic Air Contaminants.
For general info, try the Scientific American website.
Pretty much any source in a truly referred Journal.

According to Scientific American, "Ben Frankiln breathed air with 228 ppm (parts per million) CO2. Currently, we breath air with 398 ppm CO2."

Your problem finding reliable sources comes from a popular misconception of science. For example, Scientist A says his research shows that in 10 years the snows will be (for the first time in the existence of the human race) gone from My Kilimanjaro. Scientist B states that his research shows that this will not happen for 25 years.

This is then written up in the popular press as "Scientists cannot decide if (not when) the snows on Mt. Kilimanjaro will all melt" And most folks miss the if/when change, and decide that the scientists don't know, so it probably won't happen.

In fact, both scientists agree it WILL happen, they just disagree on the EXACT time table

Well, I can't answer the first part.

As for the second, there is so much pollution in China (due to their economy's rapid growth), that if you went there, you'd get bronchitis! It probably makes you more vulnerable to lung cancer too.
