I always like to look at the trinity like a very good pie. You can imagine any kind of pie you want. I particularly like blueberry myself. Anyway, Imagine that pie is split evenly into three pieces. The entire pie represents God. The pieces are part of God. The Father is one piece (The good parent.) The Son is one piece (The devoted child) and the holy ghost (the speaker)
Now, that said, there are not biblical reference for the trinity. Really it is two in one. (Jesus and God) The spirit is just a way for God to communicate.
Who do I believe is in control? I give it to God right now. If Jesus was here like he was at the beginning of the century I would give it to him but he is taking a break right now until he comes back. At least that is what I believe.

it depends on what you mean by "in control." God gave man a free will and lets us do what we want. However, if you are referring to which is in control of the Godhead, it would be the Father. Christ makes it clear that he did nothing apart from the will of the father, and that the Holy Spirit also does nothing apart from the will of the father. We are to be yielded to the Holy Spirit, which means we hand over control to Him, but we do this through drawing closer to the the Father. When we pray, we are to pray TO the Father, in Christ's name.

Our Heavenly Father is DEFINITELY in control, he created our souls, his SON came down on his own to atone for our sins and died and was resurrected again so that we may do the same.
The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also Luke (24:39); but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us.

Hello Prayerwarrior.. :)
All Three are in Control..
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are One..
But yet they are still separate..such as with the wind that bloweth, we not know where it comes from or where it is going..
God is our Father, which made a way for us to come to Him, through His Precious and only Son Jesus, Who is our Saviour..the Holy Spirit is our comforter, teacher, guide and our advocate, for He comes alongside, to help us to learn and to teach us the mysteries of God.. :)
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ..

It works a little differently.
All are EQUALLY God.
They are acting equally in different capacities according to order and through our limited small understanding of such a Big Awesome God, it seems to go in this order:
Father --> Son--> Holy Spirit.
The Father is always in control and always has been.
The Son has all power in His hands and depended on His Heavenly Father God when He was here on earth. He is now seated to His right on the throne.
The Holy Spirit lives inside of each believer and has endowed us with POWER to work here on earth.

All, because they are the three in one...meaning that Father is Son, and Holyghost, and vise versa vise versa. It's amazing, really.

In John the 17th chapter, i.e. Jesus High Priestly prayer the answer you seek can be found in unity. They all think alike and act alike. There was only one place I could find that they didn't seem to agree and that was at the garden of Gethsemane. Basically, the three are one.
