I used to complain alot too. A friend gave me a video called "The Secret" ($31.00) and it last an hour. And it ended my complaining. See every time you say something negative you are telling your subconscious mind that you want more negative to happen to you so more bad happens. Bad things happen all the time. I just dont repeat them and put them in my 'So What' file.

Uhh....that's like two questions. What's wrong with you? Don't you think about what you're doing? Well, you know what I'm not going to answer your silly questions.

Now, like any good complainer I'll bitterly do as I'm told. Complainers are annoying but sadly a part of life (am I complaining about people who complain?). The most you can do is keep trecking and just smile when you see them stuck in that same job because of their attitude. Have a nice day!

That is the most annoying thing in the world is to hear someone complain all day. I would let her know straight out that complaining all day will not get them nowhere. or you could tell her to shut up.

We all need to *vent* from time to time, but someone who does this day in and day out is very unhappy. They are vampires and will drain you dry. I've tried to be kind and listen to folks like that, but after a time I realize what it's doing to my spirit and I just have to get away from them.
Shut up and relax? It's not in them.

The ones that I can't escape from I usually ask "Has your life always been this miserable?" Sometimes it works and they either don't talk to me about their complaints and once and great while the spot off yes and go on and on and on and on

But most of the times it works!

Tell that person to stop complaining - ask them if they hear themselves. I do it all the time, then they think twice about doing it becuz they get tired of me saying stuff to them about it.

I have many women in my office that do the same thing. When they come into my office I pretend that I'm so busy that I don't have time to talk or like a previous response, ignore them.

If she was not unhappy she would not be complaining. I would suggest you address her concerns and be kind. A little kindness goes a long way.

You can't...just don't get in conversations with her. This type of behavior is contagious, I've seen it happen at my place of employment before...had to get rid of someone last year because we didn't want her to infect the rest of the staff.

just tell her she complains too much and you really don't want to hear it. what can she do? nothing, but complain about you not listening.
