First you have to find a senior citizen with Internet access. Believe it or not, nursing homes do not have such access.
If you want to do something for older people, take your physical body and go to the nearest nursing home. Senior citizens love it when you sit with them and talk to them and pay attention to them.
Most very old people cannot see good enough to read things off of a computer.

There is a national organization called Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly that works with lonely and isolated seniors. They are always looking for volunteers. Check out the website at littlebrothers.org to see if there is a chapter in your area.

Contact the office of ageing in your area. There should be one listed on your states website. For example in Washington DC there is a office of Aging where you can call to get information on any and everything that has to do with the feild of geriatrics ( that is the medical field for people over the age of 60)
