Hello, Canada! Have you forgotten all the troops we prematurely pulled out of Afghanistan and sent into Iraq? Tell you what. Why don't some of you nice Canadian boys step up and take some of the load in Iraq, and then we can send some of our guys back into Afghanistan to finish that little job, or haven't you heard? Since we had to cover two fronts without much help from our northern buddies, we kind of let the Taliban regroup, so now we've got to go back and knock 'em back down again. Who knows? Maybe second time's a charm and we'll get old bin Ladin this go round, eh?

Update: For those of you apparently residing on a different planet, here's a link to yesterday's news out of Afghanistan (excuse me, this ABC report was filed on June 20.) This is the ABC Blog site.

Yes. They should have been home a long time ago, or better yet maybe our troops shouldn't have gone at all (at least not to Iraq for nuclear weaponds, which I don't think were ever found) There hasn't been that much of a positive of a out come, lives have been lost for no reason b/c it's like our nation's LEADER lost focus on the main reason that triggered this war in the first place ( 911 & terrorism ) and who we were going after, it seems that the people in Iraq are just corrupt savages, I hate to say this but it seems like there was a reason why Saddam ran that country the way he did, they are uncontrollable over there and there is no hope for them anytime soon, so why should either of our troops & families suffer?

There is little fighting in Afghanistan right now, meaning our troops our doing well in keeping the peace. I don't think we should pull out because there are still terrorists in hiding. Such as al-Zawahiri and bin Laden, both around that area. If we pull out, we WOULD NOT be able to find them, and it would also give them another area to hide in.

It was time to come back before we ever went there. But, if we leave, who will protect the CIA's poppy fields and heroin production network and " big oil's " partially completed pipeline across western Afganistan?
