Go for a freaking walk in the sunshine. Sunshine produces seratonin, which makes you happier. Exercise will get your blood pumping and make you feel pretty damn good, too. That's what I do when I'm depressed anyway. I put some good tunes in my MD player and walk my depression off!! I used to take Zoloft for my depression, but I don't feel like I should have to depend on prescription drugs to keep me going. Besides, the side effects of them aren't worth it.

If you're depressed to the point of not being able to function in daily life, I suggest you see a doctor ASAP. It may be difficult to get into a mental health professional (Psychiatrist, psychologist, therapist, etc.) right away, but often your general practitioner can help you for short term and possibly get you in with a mental health doctor sooner.
Good luck!

When you feel depressed read psalms 23 in the bible or just read the bible, Ask God to help you see your way out of your depression, And also find something to do to take your mind off your depression if that doesn't work seek counseling and get on some meds so it can help balance it out.

if its to the point you can't function well.... seek professional help, otherwise:
1. talk to frenz/co-workers/school mates/family
2. eat come chocolate
3. exercise
4. count up all the good things in the world or in ur life (and there has to be a few)
5. think of all the worse your life could be, and be grateful it is not
6. surround yourself with friends and family that don't annoy you
7. smile and laugh for no reason
8. find silly things to do, like draw with crayons and pin them up
etc, etc, etc

Seek help from a professional. And don't worry about money b/c they have clinics and such that are inexpensive or free to help you get through it. And don't be afriad. I went through a bout of depression once and if it wasn't for my friends telling me to see the school counselor at our college I probably would have the confindence and brighter outlook on life that I do today. Please seek help.
