My ankles used to crack for about 3 years when I walked then 14 years ago when I was pregnant, my wrists always popped and slipped out of place (ouch!). I had a CALCIUM deficiency. SO...get her some calcium supplements, advise her to take a supplement called Glucosamin Condroitin. It is sold at any drug store. It is a wee expensive, but it works! No more joint pain and poppin knees, ankles or wrists. Foods high in calcium are great like spinach and especially lowfat plain yogurt (the vanilla is not half bad!) that you can eat on pototoes, with fruit, et cetera. Best wishes to her.

Stop drinking dairy. Especially low fat dairy. Dairy tends to encourage calcification of soft tissue, and low fat dairy - which lacks the fat needed for the fat soluble vitamins A and D to do their job and get the calcium to the right place - is even worse. Go to www.milksucks.com to learn more about the harmful effects of this white pus beverage.

In the meantime try magnesium. It may help to resolve the situation.

It may be a condition due to her growing up. I suggest asking a doctor for possible reasons, then looking them up on the web.
