Im desperately trying to get hold of Powerpoint to do a presentation but I am not prepared to pay in excess of £150 for the privilege!! Does anyone know what happens to the previous versions that get superceeded or any cheap software suppliers?
Have thought about downloading free trial, but wont have access to internet till Monday and it needs to be done by wednesday...Any ideas??

You need to try OPEN OFFICE. It's FREE and is nearly the same as Microsoft's Office.

For making Presentations (Like PowerPoint) use the IMPRESS program in OPEN OFFICE.

By Corel Word Perfect office suite it is very similar to Office but alot cheaper it is about 80-100.00

you can go to www.microsoftoffice.com and search for powerpoint, and download a trial version for free, and maybe you can try eBay!

Try searching for Abondon Ware on any of the large search sites, you will find more than you can handle.
