Why not have both? By day I am a CEO of a major firm and in the evening, I put on my armour, mount a white horse and rescue damsels as I slay dragons.

I agree with whoever said the prince on the white horse is a metaphor for being there when she needs you. The difference between the prince and the nice, honest, hardworking man is only that the prince is very attentive to the woman's needs.

That means being a supportive listener, being affectionate both physically and verbally, reassuring her of your love without being asked... Otherwise, the prince has nothing over the nice, honest, hardworking man.

The man on the white horse is just a metaphor and a fairy tale. I think it means a man that will be there when you need him to be and to take care of you. So it that is what you are asking, then yes I want a man on a white horse and I've got that. My husband of 13 years is one of the hardest working men that I know. He has a full time job, went to school during our marriage and graduated with a 3.97 GPA with honors with his Bachelor's, is currently working on his Masters and is still working full time and we have 4 kids. I stay home and don't have to work. That is what I call a prince.

Well some women don't know what that means and are asking the impossible. If you feel that is what you are, then in time the right woman will come along and will appreciate what you have to offer.

I don't want a prince on a white horse, I'm realistic here. A good honest and hard working man is hard to come by. Most of the guys I've met are liars. They lie to make themselves feel better, and put up a good front. I would like to have an honest man, just can't find one.
