Have you ASKED/QUESTIONED your PSYCHIATRIST about this???

Make another appointment to DISCUSS this matter. Especially the being STILL VERY DEPRESSED part.

WOW Seroquel 300mg. I can't take ANY MORE than 25mg.

After trying many different combinations of many different prescriptions.. my doctor and pharmacist finally simplified it all.
300 mg Seroquel and 400 mg of Lamictal has worked perfectly and I have been very stable with that.. half in the morning and half 10 hours later. A very small amount of Ativan on an 'as needed' basis to shut my head up when it starts flying away on me. Ativan is a very nasty drug. I would not suggest it to anybody as a long term thing.. addictive and horrible side effects with repeated use. Worse than heroin.
I have a rapid cycling type of bipolar with psychotic traits during the manic phase. It was very crazy for me for a while. Not anymore :)
Doctors know best.. the advice to consult with a pharmacist will be very beneficial.. you always need the doctor for the prescription and often the pharmacist to explain it all and give the list of side effects with each new trial combination of medications to help you out.
Different things work differently on different people at different times.. but this is what works for me :)
Good Luck.

My advise would be to consult your local Pharmacist, they are a wealth of information. I would take the word of my pharmacist over that of any doctor when it comes to medications. If you are still in doubt then ask a few different pharmacist and see if you get the same answer.
