after watching a few england games earlier in the season, and been plesently suprised how good it was, i will go for rachel unitt

Mia Hamm of America is a fantastic player and possibly the best in the world at the moment although age is catching up with her just now.

Another great player is a Scots lass called Julie Fleeting and she will be the outstanding womans Footballer for years to come.

Back in the 70's it would have been a player who played for both QPR & England womens teams, called Paddy, I lived over there during that period, and she was a marvel in midfield. Now I am not too sure.

In England Kelly Smith is definitely the best player. IMO she could play in the men's game, although probably not the Premiership. Whether she is the best in the world, I'm not sure!

Well my dear I would after say it was ME.. I was once a keen player for a Ladies side one of the very first female teams to be going...I hav now hung up my boots as my age has got the better of me but i loved the game..

seeing as most women only watch mens football because they fancy the players i am going to say that the answer has got to be the one who i think is the most attractive!

mia hamm has always been a great player along with kristine lilly!! from the uk i would say that it would have to be julie fleeting or rachel brown
