islam and heaven?

as the koran says when all the billion or so muslims end up in heaven , where will all the non muslims end up after they kick the damn bucket?

You have put trillion dollar question. In the Heaven they will be surrounded by beautiful damsels (Houris) 60 of them each for one Muslim male. It makes an amusing story when one reads these promises in the Quran and Hadith. Quran is silent about dead females among Muslims and how they will be benefited in the Heaven. 'Noor' and Houris are attractive for males; but what about females?

Perhaps, that is the reason females do not join the Jihad as there is no promise for them. In Islam there is no vacancy for females in the Heaven.

first .. not all the muslims end up in heaven ,, just the true believers and who follow the steps of the prophet and who are on the right way ..
any body else ( not muslims or muslims who don't know what does islam really is ) end up in the hell ..

Firstly with regard to Muslim in Heaven. Yes, all Muslims will eventually be in Heaven. however, that does not mean that some wont be punished first.

Secondly, We have to clarify what "non-Muslim" means before we proceed. Non-Muslims are ones that do not follow the creed "There is no object worthy of worship but Allah, and Muhammad is his final messenger"

Those people who associate partners with God; i.e. say that God has a son or daughter. or those who worship Idols, or anything other than him Alone. Will be in Hell-fire for eternity.

so it's not that they will go and serve time and then be let into heaven. they will actually stay in the worst abode forever.

The ones who worshipped Allah alone, before the coming of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) will also be in heaven eventually if not right away.

It is manditory that whomever heard of the message of Islam, that they accept it(and of course accept all the prophets) before they die. or else they will be in hellfire.

I ask Allah to guide you all to the truth. ameen.

All the Muslims will not end up in heaven. In Quran, Allah says, "Your acts depend upon your intentions." So it's not imperative that every Muslims who gives charity or offers prayers five times a day will go straight to heaven. Such acts might be to boast his righteousness to others. Thus, his intentions are not to follow His path but just to make his name illustrious and pious in this world.

The basic condition for entering Paradise, apart from other good deeds, is to believe that He is the sole Creator of this Universe, and that he has no peer. Allah is most forgiving, we never know what act of kindness or faith would make even a non-Muslim eligible for entry into Paradise.

So at the time of his death, even if a Muslim has the slightest doubt about the characteristic of Him being the sole God, all of his life's good deeds would perish in a jiffy.

As for the non-believers, they shall stay in hell forever. Open your eyes, this life is very short. I know most westerners believe that this life is the only life, but just imagine what would happen if THERE REALLY came the D-day, when no one would've a U-Turn, what shall we do then?

Talking in an unbiased manner, I've personally observed that western nations think of God or His Divinity close to materialistic approach. God is not a man, He is Divine. Go deep into the idea of Divinity. When He could create such a huge universe, would it be hard for Him to accomodate 5 or 6 billion people in Heaven or Hell? 6 billion people would be much less than a speck to Him. He is Almighty.

Read Quran with an open mind for once. You'll be amazed at the facts written in this holy book, even the scientific facts. Just read this book with an unbiased approach for once. It's not a hoax that more and more people are turning towards Islam, so many people would not be convinced with incomplete facts. Quran is a book of complete facts. No one can push you in accepting Islam, but your conscience. Muslims believe in all divine books of earlier nations, but even in those books was written that there would come a man after those Holy Prophets (peace be upon them) whose book every believer has to follow. Muslims do not have any doubt about those books' authenticity, they just believe that those books are not in their original form right now. As for the Holy Quran, pick up any Holy Quran in any part of the world, published in any time-period, you'd not find a single change or difference even in a dot.

Prophet Muhammad's message was not personal or for his nation only. It was for entire humanity.

Further study would clarify whether the Muslims and non-Muslims are destined for heaven or hell.
