Yes, many so-called Christians prove themselves to be hypocrites when they attack Jehovah's Witnesses and pretend that the preaching work is unnecessary!

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) “Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

Christians believe that we should never do anything that is wrong (such as lying, stealing, murder, or adultery), but most Christians also admit that it is impossible to be perfect. I'm sure everyone has done something that they have said other people shouldn't do. The whole point of being a Christian is admitting that you are not perfect and that you need forgiveness.

That's like me asking, "does anyone else think all atheists are closed-minded and arrogant?" It's just a stupid question that generalizes a segment of the population that doesn't agree with your point of view.

Hypocrisy is not a Christian problem. It is a human problem. Christians just need to live to a higher standard because of their calling to Christ.

Good question, and the answer is "yes, I certainly do"
Inside every sect is a sub-sect that believes what they wish to be sin, what they wish to be good, and it will differ from the other sub-sect of believers. They will condemn the first person they come across for not believing the way they bel;ieve, but will have their own screw ups that they are not focusing on, because they are spending too much time focusing on everybody else.
Any way of thinknig that is about mind control, and not using your own thoughts or intuition, in my book, does nothing but give insecure individuals something to focus on because they do n not trust themselves or their thoughts, so they need to be told what to think and what to do.

Not all of us are. it seems that the ones you are in contact with, nad even a few that use this page, tend to forget that God has loved us without condition. We are supposed to do the same. I hope that this is just a generalization. If you believe we are ALL this way, then I apologize for my family in Christ and I hope we can set a better impression on your mind and heart.

I believe everyone can at times, have a hypocritical attitude towards others. Singling out Christians would be like saying that all muslims are terrorists, or all non-Christians are judgmental.

Sure they are Hippocrates, but so is everybody else in the entire world! The Lord Jesus says in Romans "For ALL have SINNED and come short of the glory of God"..... That means we ALL have sins, and hypocrisy is one of them. I don't know about you, but I find that the more that I concentrate on my own personal short comings, the less I concentrate on others short comings. I have enough Sin that I need to confess and ask the Lord Jesus to forgive me of at the end of the day that I am not so concerned about others. I would suggest that you read the Lord's Word (Bible) to find your answer to your question about Christians. The Lord Jesus is very clear about explaining how WE ALL have iniquities and sin in our hearts and lives......whether it is hypocrisy, lying, gossip, anger, doubt, fear..........and the list goes on!
I thank the Lord every day to know that He forgives me when I ask Him to forgive me of such short comings that sometimes I am unaware I possess.......as well as he promises that I can have victory over them and learn to humble myself to be less offensive IN ANY WAY.......and He promises to forgive and help you too!
