If you're in Singapore you can look for it during the sales period from places like metro, john little etc. My wife just bought a couple of packs at $2-3 each (each pack contained a bunch of small figures) from the john little warehouse sale.

While you can get 'em at discount and dollar stores, you can also find nicer ones that may even have constellations and celestial bodies at your local science museum or kids' museum.
Beware of the thick plastic ones -- they have a hard time sticking to the ceiling with the glue dots provided, and the last thing you want is a thick plastic star wonking you on the head in the middle of the night... Can anyone say Chicken Little?

You can find them in the toy section of w'mart. I've seen little bags with glow in the dark, hard plastic, space themed items that you stick on the wall (and ceiling) for around $5.

Your room sounds like it's going to be a great place to hang out in the dark...

try the Dollar Stores, WalMart, or even Kmart, Beware the hard ones though, they are not only hard to stick up, but when they do they are even harder to get off. I have had to scrape them off ceilings before.
