I married a Filipina. And let me give you some serious advice,. If I had a choice to do it all over again I would not do it. Not because I don’t love my wife because I do very much. but the amount of crap and time and money and aggravation you have to go through with the INS .. it simply is not worth it. I truly honestly don’t know how anyone ever emigrates to the US at all anymore. This has been a total nightmare. Please be forewarned. It is not an easy thing. It takes many many years to resolve. I married my wife over in the Philippines 4 years ago. And it took us about a year for me to get her to the US.. and once she was over here. It was truly a night mare as there are so many forms to fill out and on top of that the incompetence of the INS is just unreal. I think that all the stupid people in the world have been employed there. You will never get the same answer two times and are forced to send them more money for things that were their mistakes to begin with. Just letting you know. it is not all roses.

I will tell you the easiest way that's less off a headache instead of taking a jet plane to a foreign country just to look for a bride and avoid a bunch of stacks of paperwork. The answer is New York City! New York City is immigrant/foreign city. Lots and lots of gorgeous women living there from different parts of the world. These women are already in the states so there is no need to go out of the country and a lot of these women living there are single and lonely! And best of all, these women already know some or are fluent in english. Many of them are educated too and have great jobs! Otherwise, they wouldn't be living in New York City. I know this because I lived in New York City for 3 years and I currently live about an hour from New York City. I'm not even a native New Yorker. I'm originally from the south but I moved to New York because I needed a change.
If you can't afford to live in New York City and are serious about getting married, live in New Jersey and commute to New York City, to increase your chances of meeting foreign women. Meeting "the one" is a numbers game. You have to meet "the one" before you get married anyway. And you're certainly not going to meet different foreign women if you live in areas of the United States that's segragated and/or narrow minded. That's why you go to areas like New York City to increase your chances. If you move, you'll have to sacrifice your job, your friends, and family. But that is part of growing up. If possible, you can ask your boss if you can work from home that way you can move and you don't need to change companies, unless you have a profession like a doctor, lawyer, teacher, then finding another job like that shouldn't be a problem in New York City/New Jersey. As long as you're educated, you can manage to find a job in NJ/NYC.

I'm going to guess that you aren't from the US if you are looking for a bride from there.

Have you tried any of the international online personal ad services? Many of them exist. Just make sure that the people you meet are genuinely searching for the same things in life that you are.

From personal experience, I know that marriage to someone who is not from your country is not an easy experience, as you have to deal with visas and immigration officials. If you only want to marry to leave your country, it is not worth the hassle. If you choose to marry someone you meet because you really and truly love them, then go for it.

Good luck in the search.
