I support her and she has never had 2 work.
I never wanted her 2 take a job that an American might need.
Now we need 2 incomes 2 support our lives.
We have no children but with the cost of living going up I need her 2 work.
We bought a house 2 yrs ago and want 2 keep it.
The INS paperwork costs money.
Was just asking if there was an easier way.

i believe u can go to Catholic parish organizations and they will tell u what u need for free, u just have to pay the application fees. she will get it because she qualifies 4 the I-245 bill that passed. go talk to this organization or else u will pay a lawyer or notary buke money. good luck

If you have been married and lived in the US for twelve years I don't see why she would be deported. Go thru the proper channels and paperwork and hopefully she will be able to stay. Of course our gov't don't seem to know what they are doing as far as illegals go or not much of anything else except greed and corruption. but all you can do is try and pray. Best of Luck

Contact the INS. You need to start the process that should have been started 12 years ago. You need to initiate the paperwork to obtain a "Temporary Alien Resident" card and a work permit.

The fact that she overstayed her visa in a time of war is going to delay her ability to stay. It will now take you longer than originally expected. However, I have a friend who is in immigration law, so I will ask for you.
Did you ever get your answer?

If she's been in the US illegally, you have way more problems than can be listed here - but I suspect you know that.
Enjoy living in Peru.

I don't believe a word of this story. Every American knows how to get his or her partner legal.
This is what we call trolling. Attention-seeking.
