The apolstle paul summed it up very well, he said "why is it I do that which I would not and that which I would, I do not. The answer is in Romans primarily but all through the bible. Its called old man nature or the nature of man . When we are born again its our job to renew our minds to the word of God. Christ defeated the devils tempting by quoting direct scripture not by saying gee I don't want to or God wouldnt like it. The Bible says "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" the context being lack of knowledge of Gods word or in our case his written word. Its the words that have power in them and the words retained and beleived. Still we will being human and having a sinful nature always wrestle against the desires of the flesh. Thankfully God knows our frame and remembers we are dust or as I put it made out of dirt so he doesnt expect a whole lot. The more we renew out mind to the word on a minute by minute action by action basis we will do things better though however its not because we have to but because we want to that brings about such change. Simply , I love God because he first loved me and really beleiveing and getting that concept. It makes us want to please our dad.

When you accept the fact that you can't become perfect in an instant, you'll be more able to change the way you are. First you feel guilty (by the law), then you are forgiven (by Christ), and then you grow, and learn to walk as a Child of God. One step at a time.

Humans weren't meant to disclose each others flaws.Everyone wants there share of '15 min'of fame ,by hook or by crook!Human emotions of the right n wrong were always conflicted with the desire to be.....or atleast look perfect. Why do sooo many people have constituted 'self issues'? Its all due to this demon within us leading us to beleive that only the 'perfect' are reverred and flourish in this world!!!In our quest to be perfect ,which began from the so called early man ( remember him conquering all odds to be perfect?) and which will last eternally is leading us to what all religious term as HYPOCRISY!!
Its all in our genes, no one would declare and show their flaws downright. The saddest thing is due to this rat race of the 'perfect' and the ' bad'we have conditioned and illusioned ourselves to beleive that some of us can really be flawless and continuosly deny the odour of hypocrisy emanating from within our souls!!!...............which is hypocrisy in itself!! We are forgetting that character flaws is what that makes us human.....otherwise we just aren't complete.
Show me how many people are out there who say that they beleive in this doctrine but act hypocritically? If you beleive in this ,then why should hypocrisy itself exist?!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because we are sinful. Sin has alienated us from God, alienated us from one another; from the rest of the created order and in the deepest level - ourselves. Tell me, how old do you think you'll be when you truly get to know yourself inside out as God sees you? That's right - perhaps never this side of heaven (and that includes me). So how on earth can we consistently present our true self to the world when we don;t even know our true selves?

Speak for yourself. I am not a hipocrite. I may be a sinner, and I turn to my Lord for His forgivness every day. But not everyone is a hipycrite. There is a cure for your hypocracy, and that is to turn your life over to Jesus and invite Him into your heart, and let Him lead you in life. When you sin, go to him for forgiveness and He will forgive you, and do your best to change the part of you that does those bad things. With the help of the Lord and in His perfet time, you can change for the better.

It is human nature to be hypocritical. That is something we are to overcome by integrating Scripture into the way we live our lives (becoming people of integraty).

human beings just copy his/her superior. If your superior cheat and lie, must be OK for you to cheat and lie.
If your pastor talks on thing on the pulpit and finish with Debbie Murphy on his lap must be the reason.
We don't live in a world christian and occidental.
Our world is accidental and cretin.

The greatest instinct we have is: survival!
1. Survival of ourselves, by breathing, drinking, eating, etc.
2. Survival of our kind, by multiplication, by mating and creating children!
For the second, we should show our superiority, from the other of our sex, to the opposite sex. Thus, frequently we show other values from what we have, in order to impress the opposite sex and proceed! It's all in our genes' memory!
