i have absoulutely no idea how to handle this?

i used to be very close friends with this girl in highschool.

back them i was a wimp (and appears i still am) and never asked her out, yet we spent about 2 years back then, on the verge of a relationship (i was a gutless fool), as if waiting for other to ask to make it official

she even told my friends all i had to do was ask, yet i never did.
after highschool finished i never saw her again, and 2 years later i heard she had married someone, i was sad cause i still thought of her from time to time, but well that was end of it.

untill today (6 years later) when i happen to read an article in an old newspaper written late last year, in which its about her, and her maiden name

im assuming she either never married or is divorced, so now i wanna see her again, how do i talk to someone i havent seen for 6 years.

id feel weird (like a stalker) if i just looked her number up and rang her, id want more of a bump into her kinda thing, but yeah i need everyones help, what do i d

Man, that does suck! How could you let the one get away? I feel your angst and reason on why you would want to contact her again. Sadly, it has been 6 years and that is quite a long time.

Well if you really feel like seeing what could have been, then you might have the chance now. First, you better find her phone number and spend some time thinking 'am i wimp or am i am?.' After you ponder on that for a while, be the man and call her!!!! Dude, don't waste more time not knowing for that is what is going to kill you in the end.

It wouldn't look like your stalking her unless she hangs up and says never to call again, and you do. so just call her up and say hello and see where it goes from there.

You need to overcome you fears brother. Only that way you will know if what may be isn't forever lost.

Find her phone number and or address, and call her, tell her you were thinking about her and wondered how she was. After she spills her story out, ask her if she would be open to you coming by to see her, if she says yes, then tell her the whole sordid past actions of yours, apologize and ask is she would be interested in seeing if you two could make it together
