Obviously he doesn't want to marry you. Most likely it has nothing to do with you. He is probably not man enough to tell you how he feels so he just keeps delaying. Ask him if he wants to rethink marriage for a while and see what he says. If he jumps all over the idea, there is your answer. If he still insists you get married ask him to set a date and keep it.

I'm sorry love, there is nothing you can do to convince him. Have you only been together a short while? He is obviously apprehensive to marry you for a reason. Rather than trying to convince him to marry you, trying having a heart to heart talk to him to find out why he keeps delaying your wedding...Good luck

I finally started planting wedding planning books all over the house and then one day I just came out and asked him where he wanted the tent set up for the engagement party. He was a little shocked but he knew it was time to get the ball rolling and now he's actually trying to help plan the wedding. Unsuccessfully trying, but still trying. lol. He thinks the groomsmen should wear blue and orange tuxedos from the movie dumb and dumber. Lord help me. Good luck. I'm sure if he loves you he'll come around.

Don't try and convince him. This is an important decision and he needs to want it to if it is going to work. Pressurising someone into this sort of thing is a big mistake. If you do that, and he does marry you just to keep you happy, then you will constantly be wondering whther he really loves you.And that doesn't feel good. Give him time , and realise that marriage isn't everything!

There is nothing you can do to convince him. Maybe try talking to him maybe he is having doubts or concerns. Maybe after you guys talk and get things out in the open then will see more eye-to-eye on what he worried about or what can be done so he will be okay to set that wedding date.

There is no convincing anyone to get married!! That is just asking for trouble. If he doesn't want to get married , why would you want force the issue. If marriage is a must for you MOVE ON!!!! He is not going to be convinced. That just wishful thinking!

It sounds like he really doesn't want to get married. Do you really want to marry a man who you have to convience. Sounds like the perfect set up for a troubled life.
A commitment of marriage is a mutual decision.
If he continues this avoidence of marriage.
Let him know that you are tired of this game and cancel it all. You deserve a man who will love you fully and not hesitate in giving a commitment.
Your other choice would be to always be his girlriend and never his wife.
The choice is yours

You ought to know the reason why he kept delaying the date of the wedding. so that you can what to do; if the reason is valuable both of you have to work it out. But if the reason is not valuable, you have to given up on him. I think he could mistreat you in the future if you compel him.

Why do you want to convince someone to marry you? Either let him do it when he wants to or leave him. Convincing someone will only make you feel later like he really didn't want to marry you and you made him, which ultimately will end in divorce.

I think you are asking the wrong question. Why did he have a change of heart? Is there someone else? Does he have doubts about the relationship? Or is there something else going on? Talk to him and figure out why he has these feelings.

Honestly honey, if he is having these worries or theres someone else, you are better of without him.
