Yes.This phenomenon was noted in some East African prostitutes who tested positive for HIV but remained symptom-free while speading the virus.
The men with whom they had sex all developed the disease and some died during the contact tracing study.
Not only were these ''ladies'' symptom-free ,but their CD4 count -(which guages the amount of immunity still present) remained persistently high while their viral load remained constant or low -without drugs.
This ASYMPTOMATIC CARRIER phenomenon has also been noted ,to a lesser degree ,with the Hepatitis B virus.

Yes. But I have only heard of one case of someone proving positive for HIV and somehow being immune to it themselves. AIDS is a threat with anyone you have sexual relationships with - so always use a condom. There are some reasons for not using a condom. If married couples totally trust their partners and want children. But the statistics on infidelity in marriage and similar relationships seem to suggest even that carries a risk of deadly infection.

You can have and pass on HIV but not show any symptoms of AIDS as the progression from the person being infected with the virus to AIDS can take up to 10 years.

Well, she will die horribly and painfully eventually.... I suppose that is hurting herself, but if she is knowingly spreading AIDS, then she is a rotten person.

sure, she has the virus but she hasn't gotten sick yet.....you can test positive for HIV and not be full-blown sick...AND pass it to others!!!!
That is why in order to stay healthy, you have to be diligent!!!! Protect yourself....why be stupid?
