They have all the way back to Ishmael and Isaac and they always will. If the Jews could be destroyed it would destroy the God of Israel because He said that Israel would always be preserved. The hatred is not against Israel but against the God of Israel. By the way study a little history and you will see that Arabs never owned the middle east, there has never been a Palestinian state in the history of this world. There were no palestinians until after the Jewish people began to return to Israel in the late 1800's and cultivate the land. The first Palestine Arabs came in to the land in the 1920's because of the employment that was there due to the reconstruction of Israel by the Jewish people.

Muslims and Jews have a long history of living together in peace over many centuries. Jews have lived as minorities in most Arab countries until 1948, when they moved to Israel. The first "Golden Period" of the Jewish people is recorded as taking place under the Muslim rulers of Spain, who ruled Spain for eight hundred years until 1492, when both Jews and Muslims were thrown out of Spain by Queen Isabella.

It is an irony that the two people having lived in peace for centuries were pitted against each other when hate against the Jews emerged one more time in Russia and Europe. The Jewish people had no place to go. Some of the Jews had always lived in and around Jerusalem. Then Jewish immigration to Palestine began in earnest in the late 1800s. Initially the Arabs welcomed the Jewish folks as they felt they would bring new technology and ideas from Europe. Soon, the pressure increased substantially for the Jews to immigrate especially after World War I, when large numbers began to move to Palestine.

It is like the Mexicans immigrating to the US. When their numbers increase, tensions increase. The same began to happen in Palestine. Soon, the criminal elements of the Jewish immigrants began to strong arm the Palestinians (Check out the Stern Gang and Irgun on google) which were active in initially pestering the arabs and later began to kill and murder them. The most famous of these massacres is the Deir Yaseen Massacre in which an entire Arab village was killed including children, to terrorize the Arabs into leaving their villages so that the new settlers could take their land.

This naturally bred hate among the Arabs. They did not have the right weapons to fight back, so the hate kept festering and occasional violence began on both sides. Europeans and the West saw Israel as a good opportunity to rid themsevles of the "Jewish problem", so they armed the Jews with the latest weapons. Ultimately after more than sixty years terrorism and abuse by the new Jewish immigrants, terrorism also began on the side of the Arabs in the 1960s.

More than two million Arabs lost their lands and half a million Arabs lost their lives. Imagine if Mexicans will take over an American town and kill the Americans and carve out a country from the South how the average American will feel.

The same happened to the Arabs. Most Muslims relate to the plight of the Palestinian people who had done no wrong to the Jewish people. It is an irony that the wrong doing of the Europeans and Russians was taken out on the Muslims and the Arabs.

If not Judaism and Islam are closer to each other than any other two faiths in the World.

It started back when Mohammad the Prophet wanted to convert all of the Hejaz (present day Saudi Arabia) to Islam and the Jewish tribes around Yathrib (present day Medina) refused to accept him as a prophet. He exterminated all of the Jewish tribes because of that and the hatred has lasted till this day amongst most Muslims.

Iran : The same reason.

In historic times when Islam was coming to light and when Prophet Muhammad tried to propagate Islam through a very peaceful manner the Meccans or people of the scriptures (now known as Jews) tortured him and those who believed in Islam.

Meccans also chased Prophet Muhammad from Mecca, Prophet and fellow muslims were forced to leave Mecca and they migrated to Madina. The meccans kept torturing Prophet even after he left Mecca. There are historical evidence of wars & treaties between Meccans and Muslims where Meccans betrayed Prophet Muhammad and broke their treaty.

Maybe that's why they never liked Jews.

I don't hate Jews. I just do not agree with taking over a people's land, claiming it to be yours, killing and expelling people from their own homes to live in them when they are not yours. This is not hatred to Jews; but particularly what is happening in Palestine. They are wiping Palestinians off the map (to use your words); what have Palestininans done?

What do Muslims like? They fight and kill fellow Muslims too. Muslims' "hate culture" do not confine itself to Jews only - the fundamentalist have now successfully exported their depraved definition of jihad into hatred of infidels, the Christian West - that's why it's imperative that this brand of Muslims be wiped off the map. Because they could come from any nationality: Australian, British, American (check latest Sears Tower arrests).
