What is the best and easiest to use source for being able to access my computer from another computer? I am working on something at home and want to be able to access it from work. Is it safe? Is it free? Thanks

Laplink is a good option, been around for year and year so nice an secure. Laplink Everywhere is a smaller versoin of the main program (so cheaper), free 30 day trial and then only $8.95, which is nothing considering if you use a free program there is always the risk that it will be unsecure or design to get information. download link from downloads.com is

should do the job nicely (ps you do not need to have a laptop to use it is was just orginally a program for conecting laptops together before networks, had to use a serial cable)

Routers, blootooth technology, some kind of GPS device, either of these would work but cost something. Nothing in the world truely is free.

A program called VNC is what our IT department at work has on all our computers.
