Bare breasts are only "exciting" if there's an element of risk associated with it. I lived for years in Germany, where women will sunbathe topless in city parks, Day spas are totally nude and co-ed (incidently, a man showing an erection in one of these spas meant a 50 DM fine). ALSO incidently, topless bars in Germany go out of business on a regular basis. Why pay to look at something you see for free all the time? After a while in a situation such as that, bare breasts are no big deal.
I've said for years... you de-mystify a thing, by making it commonly available, and most everyone will lose interest. Now, all that being said, because women are expected to keep their breasts covered unless nursing or having sexual realtions, when a man sees a woman's bare breast, it's a signal that there may be sex coming. THAT'S what gets the guy excited.

Nothing BUT until we accept that and act like that then I guess we will continue to act as we do. As they say if everyone walked around naked for about a week we would no longer care. Yeah you would get excited about it at first and be uncomfortable going out at first but in a short time you wouldn't see where it was a big deal. I am NOT advocating walking around in public nude. That would lead to WAY too many other things and those being seen acceptable. Sorry don't want to have a porno going on, and don't really want to see the 500 pound people that SHOW their weight walking around.

It depends on your beliefs. I believe that men are excited more by the physical feminine aspects than women are by the male body. I believe that clothing should protect a persons dignity, not revealing or exposing that which should be shown only to ones spouse. Breasts on a female are more clearly defined and because they are a source of excitement for males should remain covered.

It does seem backwards. Both men and women have nipples, but the women cover their nipples instead of the part of the breast that men don't have. Maybe guys should cover their nipples too.

It depends on where in the world you are. some places it is not offensive in the least bit where other places are offended. Women in some areas are meant to be covered in certain ways. Society is what makes something appropriate or not. And different cultures and societies have different views.
