This is in case SweetCakes ever reads the rest of the responses:

The world-wide flood of Noah's day could not have been based on the Australians because:

1-The Bible says that all of the mountains were covered, and that the water level was 20 feet above the tallest mountain. Water can't just be high in one area.

2-God said that He destroyed ALL land creatures that weren't on the ark- so the Australians wouldn't be around to tell the story unless they were one of the 8 on the ark.

3-if you have questions about this, check out

The Christian in the joke hopefully responded next with explaining the Gospel, and praying that God would save the athiest.

A little bit of trivia for you. I was watching a programme about a place in Austrialia where it only rains every 40 or 60 years, well if some people were unfortunate to build their homes here then the rain came and washed them away d'ya think this where they could've linked up the Noah story from.

Yes i am a Christian and my son is called Noah, what a laugh hey?
