Start at 6-8 weeks. Then a booster 21-28 days later, and another 21-28 days after that. Usually a 4 way vaccine is all that is given at those times. FeLV vaccine can be given at some point. That is a series of 2 shots, 1 month apart....usually given after 12 weeks. Rabies does vary from state to state, but most say the cat has to be 4 months before getting the vaccine.

Boosters for all vaccines a year later, then every 3 years in low risk situations. The exception is FeLV vaccine. It must be given every year to be effective.

Kittens should get their vaccines at 6 weeks, 12 weeks, and six months I believe. After that they should get boosters every year.

a kitten should be seen by your vet soon after he enters your home. sometimes kitties have parasites and MANY have upper respiratory infections due to the previous living conditions, non-treatment, etc.
call you vet, make a well-kitten apt. just to have a general psychical done. if the cat needs anything at all, for infection or parasites the vet will deal with it then.
any shots your kitten will need the vet can tell you, and get your set up on a shot schedule and appts. for that.
