its a pet dog but i am not sure if the dog had any injection. The size of the wound is as big as a hole poked by a board pin. its is not very deep but it was bleeding. Should i see a doctor and get an injection?

You should see a doctor immediately. Also, if you know the owner of the dog, ask if the dog has received its Rabies shot. Or take the dog to a veterinarian for examination. You need to determine if the dog has had a Rabies shot. If the dog hasn't had its shot, you may need to go through a series of shots administered by your doctor, The shots are given to prevent you from experiencing the effects, possibly death, from Rabies.

if you know the owners ask them for the rabies shot info, when was it last given and by what vet-you can call to confirm. the shots hurt and i have red rawness in belly button every few months 30 years after i got them. report it to the police or animal control so it is registered that they are on notice that the dog has a propencity for biting.

If you are not sure about vaccination of the dog, take anti-rabbies vaccine after consulting a doc as early as possible.

I would call 911 and ask their advice ASAP. Confine the dog if you can untill you receive instructions from authorities.
Hope you and the dog are OK!
