First vaccines are given usually around 8 weeks. Then again in a month and again in another month. For most, a simple 4 way vaccine is fine. Do not take the puppy to parks and other public places until the ENTIRE series of vaccines is complete. They are not protected until then and can get parvo.
Rabies is usually done at 4 months or later. All vaccines need to be boostered a year later, then most can go to every three years after that.

Don't do it yourself!!!! Most of these people have NO clue what they are talking about!!!!! If you wait until the puppy is 6 months, you have a good chance that they will get parvo!!! And you DO NOT vaccinate every 2 weeks!!!!!! That is overvaccination!!!!!
Please see your vet!!!!!

at the age of 6 to 8 weeks, they should get the first in the series of parvo shots, you can buy them at a pet store of a feed store for like $7 each;puppies need the first parvo shot around 6 weeks and then another shot every 2 weeks or so for like another 6 or 8 weeks,I can't remember which. And their rabies shots should come at around 6 or 7 months.
