A once a yr check up is fine, but don't let the vet do shots every yr. They are not needed. Read the Wisconsin University web links

Twice a year at least, or as often as you can afford it. Must be
one damn smart dog too, if he can go visit the vet.

i think ur dog should visit the vets every 2 weeks because then if u do it regualry then you can get its jabs and everything up to date

a 6 month check up is gr8 .
or u can only go wenever u think that ur dog is not well.
but if it is a pup than make sure to vaccinate it.

We go once a year for her shots and heart worm check.
