Unless the grass has a sign saying pesticides sprayed on it, there's not reason/harm done in dogs eating grass. I've heard that they do it when their stomach is not right and grass helps digest their stomach. Grass is just like another type of greens/veggies for your dog, hope that helps!

Let him eat the grass. Animals can sense if there is a certain imbalance in their body so eating odd things like for example grass, is a pretty goo self-healing strategy. But if you notice that there's something else that seems wrong or unusual apart from his normal behavior, thake him to the vet as he might be ill or in need of nutritional supplements.

You don't! Your dog knows his/her needs and will only eat grass when they feel a need to do so. Same way as you would take idigestion tablets or aperients!

This is the way a dog cleanses his stomach when his digestion is not good. If it is just occasionally thats fine but if your dog is doing it all the time watch his diet. and keep the food light for a couple of days.
