At least twice. And my toaster retaliates by not doing anything until it feels like it. Sometimes I have to dig the toast out with a fork; next time, I have to have grab it in mid-air. What's going on with toasters?

Yes. For some reason my toaster is really sensitive. Set it on 1, it heats things up nicely. Set it on 2, whatever's in there gets completely burnt. So I usually set it on 1. Then push it down. And when it's done, I push it down a second time, but eject it a few seconds later so it's warm and crispy!

Always. I pop it up to check how done it is and it always isn't done so i push the toaster down again and then the second time i check my toast it is ready to eat!

I'm a chronic toast watcher. Gotta keep poppin' it up to make sure its not overdone. About to wear the springs out in my toaster.

Yes-I absolutely LOVE burnt toast covered in Chunky Peanut Butter, and enjoyed with a large glass of grape juice.

I usually first get the timer on the right temperature for the toast and that's it.
