Whenever I try to wear contact lenses, i just close my eyes. I think its too sensitive to the fingers or something. Is there any professional help I can take to wear lenses? Or some way to wear them without closing my eyes? Thnx

Get your optomitrist to let you try out different kinds of lenses (for free). When I had to switch contact lenses, I went through about 5 different kinds before I found one that was comfortable.

If you just can't get them in because you don't like putting something in your eye, then that's a whole different issue. In that case, deal with it. You'll learn to adjust.

Have you been fit for the lenses by an optometrist or Ophthalmologist? If so, they should have someone in their office teach you how to put in and take out the lenses. If they just sent you home with them, you need to go somewhere else. If you haven't been fitted with lenses, you need to. Practice makes perfect but some people just can't get lenses into their eyes. If you just hate wearing glasses, and can't use contact lenses, consider LASIK.

u really need to go to an optician , maybe your eyeball is not round enough , this sounds funny but if there is a gap between contact & eyeball , all sorts of things get in , micro bits like pollen etc . maybe the clensing solution u are using , is acting as an irritant .

Don't wear them, period. There are cases where people have contracted infections from the cleaning solutions and gone blind. Get a cool pair of glasses, instead.
