Of course, they basically just screw the implants into your bone. Very pricey though, around 600 per tooth or more.

I have implants. They are not painful to place. Since you have dentures the nerves where the teeth were are gone. I have immediate load implants or "teeth in a day"
Yes they are very expensive but you do not need every tooth replace individually. You can get 2 to 4 implants placed and the denture you have modified with a snap like device that will permit you to snap you denture onto the implants giving a stable and secure bite and smile. The implants also prevent your bone from deteriorating further. The kind I have are more expensive than modifying a denture like I explained above.
I disagree that going overseas is the answer financially. In the long run you will pay as much if not more going overseas because of all the red tape involved. Plus having the skills of a doctor close by should something go wrong is beyond measure.

the "teeth in an hour" procedure is awesome. I have a video of it on my company's website, under products, then under implants. But please be aware that these are actual surgeries... and the teeth in an hour or immediate load implants are NOT for every case.
Be sure to speak with your surgeon about your options and the pros and cons to each. The best advice I can give you is that you are making an excelent decision in getting implants. Dentures will ware on your bone and cause recession over time... Implants won't. You'll have a much better fit, bit, and comfort, when they are finished.
Good Luck, and congrads on your decission.

Get your dental implants in India. It is cheaper to fly there and get it done in USA.Dental Surgery is very very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges all types of surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic dental surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your dental implant and surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
my cousin got it done and she just couldnt stop talking about how wonderful the whole thing went for her.
