suppose that u never bake cookies before. then, one day u get really bored and decided to bake some cookies for the first time in ur life. u mix the ingredients and bake in the oven. after sometime, ur cookies are done. they turn out perfect just like on tv! and then omigod they taste good.
u're happy with ur cookies, and im sure u will bake even more cookies in the future..ur first time was a success and u want to do it again for the 2nd time, the 3rd and...yea u get what i mean...
anyway my question isnt about cookies...im just curious, if they did go to the moon in 1969, why cant they do it again?? why there was only one trip? why cant they go there for the 2nd time? did they REALLY go to the moon????

Based on the information out there, I now believe that they never went to the moon. There is no wind on the moon, yet the flag blows in the background. The angles of lighting do not match the way they are supposed to, unless lighting was set up...and an extensive amount. The temperatre that the films would have been subjected to, would have destroyed the pictures. And for the picture of the footprint on the moon, there would have had to have been moisture to create such a mark. If you take completey dry sand and try to make a castle out of it, what happens? It crumbles...any child who has been to the beach knows that you need a little water. so, anyone can believe what they want, but im going on facts :)
ps...dont mind my spelling

Yes, we went there. We went sent men to the moon 9 times between 1968 and 1972, on Apollos 8, and 10 through 17. Apollo 8 just orbited, and Apollo 10 did a dress rehearsal for the moon landing. Apollo 13 had an accident en route, and did not land. The other 6 did, for a total of 12 men who walked on the moon, and 27 who made the trip. Apollo had a 3 man crew; 2 would land while one stayed in orbit.
Why haven't we gone back? Money. We've "been there, done that". After the Apollo program ended in 1972, NASA basically focused its future on the space shuttle. We'd have to build another rocket like the Saturn V booster to get us back to the moon, or build a lunar vehicle in orbit at the ISS, neither of which we can afford.
One day, we'll go back. I hope it's in my lifetime, but I'm not that optimistic. I'm in my 40s, and remember watching Neil Armstrong walk on the moon on 21 July, 1969.
Edit: jenisis, your spelling is the least of the problems with your near-verbatim recounting of the same idiotic "proof" that people give for us not having gone to the Moon. Every single one of the "facts" you listed has been shown to be wrong. Start with the links below.

Apollo 11 was the first mission to the moon that ended in success. Apollo's 12, 14 15 16 and finally 17 all made successful missions to the moon, or so they tell us. I'm not so convinced.
Anyway, there are more urgent and important things to be sorted out on this planet before we go and balls up another and that is why moon missions are taking a back seat.

The US has traveled to the moon on more than one mission and the USSR has also made it. There were a total of 6 apollo missions that landed on the moon. There have been no missions in recent years because funding was being spent elsewhere and scientists were not overly interested in the moon.

it takes a lot of training and a lot of money to go to the moon....and it takes a lot of time....it also risks lives as a lot of people died flying to the moon....
