besides clubs and pubs...some popular attractions at night? the best sightseeing place in L.A.?

Oh Boy! Hmm good one... If you like to be around lot of people You could try City Walk, The Block, 3rd Street Promenade, the Grove... But if you want to check out the sights of LA I would suggest Griffith Park and watch the lights come on... And if you would like to see the lights come on close I would go to the 31st floor Windows restaurant right in the Heart of Downtown or the Bonaventure Lounge (360 view of LA). But if you want something a bit more private a secluded try driving up to the Palos Verde Peninsula there are many places to stop and get out of the car BTW I feel this place has some of the best sunset anywhere.

- During the summer, California Plaza in downtown has free performances , really cool

- Hang out in Laguna Beach
- Walk from Hermosa Beach to Manhattan Beach on the Strand
- Getty Center is open late on Fridays - can't be beat
- Friday evening Jazz performances at the LACMA are always well visited
