If you mean LICE, than try a spray flea treatment insecticide like Vet Kem Ovitrol or anything that has Pyrithrins as one of the main active ingredients. It is not my preferred way of dealing with fleas, but it instantly kills all types of insects and is safe to use on a variety of animals.

It is pretty rare for dogs to get lice unless they have a weakened immune system for some reason. More than likely, your dog has fleas. The Ovitrol will work well for fleas. A product like Frontline Plus or Advantage or Advantix would also work. They take a little longer to kill all of the adult fleas, but their effectiveness for breaking the flea life cycle lasts at least a month.

If your dog truly has lice, then you need to take him/her to a vet to make sure they aren't having some other type of problem.

You can remove LICE by picking them off one by one, and make sure you kill them before throwing them away.

Clinically, try Frontline. One tube can last for a few months (according to the manufacturer), and costs approximately $30 for around 3 tubes.
