Good ol' rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide always work for me. A quick wipe with a soaked cotton ball on both the ear and the earrings before putting them in.

If you're prone to these infections, try investing in some hypoalergetic earrings and see if that makes a difference. I also find that coating the posts/hooks of my earrings with clear nail polish helps a lot, particularly if they're cheap.

disinfect your earrings with rubbing alcohol. Take them out and clean well with the alcohol. while they are out clean you infected ear hole with soap and water then alcohol.. (it will sting) You can also use hydrogen peroxide to clean the hole... will sting too but not as much. then put the clean earrings back in and swab every day with the alcohol or peroxide for one month turning them in your ears as you swab to make sure the whole earring gets cleaned as well as the hole. you can get any of these products at the drug store

Use rubbing alcohol.
Put a little in a cup or something and put your earings in there. Also, put some on a cotton ball and put them on your ears. That helps get rid of an infection, and keep them infection free. You can get rubbing alcohol at the grocery store

Peroxide works well for cleaning and treating your ear and it doesn't hurt like alcohol does. Keep the earring in, despite discomfort or the hole could close. If the infection worsens, you should see your doctor.

Put your earrings and the backs in some alcohol and let them soak for awhile. Clean your ear, and if possible, leave the earring out overnight or maybe a few days.

Soak the earrings in hydrogen peroxide and use a sterile cotton ball to apply the peroxide to your ears several times a day. You can also use Neosporin with pain reliever to help the infection. Good Luck! :)

Soak the earrings in alcohol, clean your ears with alcohol. Wash your hands before you touch your ears. Always clean earrings before you put them in.

if ur sure its infected and not just dirty or a normal reaction, DON'T REMOVE THE EARRING! go back and see the person who pierced them for you.. use a little hydrogen peroxide on it and if need be, see your doctor... whatever you do, dont remove the earring without instruction from a professional..
