Life causes anxiety attacks for some people... Da Chronic probably just amplifies it sometimes... but it can also relieve anxiety as well, I mean, if you can't remember what has you stressed then its all good.

I've been a marijuana advocate for years. I've had chronic pain for 16 years due to an improperly administered Ruebella vaccine. I'm allergic to most prescription pain killers.
Marijuana can cause anxiety attacks but only certain kinds. You need to learn what type you are getting, Indica or Sativa or Hybrid, try to get an I.D. on the name of the weed. Many varieties will decrease anxiety. A few will produce it, particularly if it was sprayed by government agencies or if the grower used pesticides. If you keep using the same seller you will probably end up with the same weed. Over time, you will learn which varities work the best for you. For more information go to www.norml.org

Yes even though you did not know you were prone to anxiety attacks before you can have anxiety attacks which is most likely caused by the paranoia that goes along with smoking weed.

Having never used it before, I cannot answer as an expert but I would have to say that I doubt it would cause anxiety attacks. As I understand it, when people smoke marijuana, it has a calming influence on them and makes them very mellow. I suppose that it is possible for some people to have the reverse affect but I doubt it would lead to anxiety attacks.
The anxiety comes from getting caught!

You were just WAY too high and probably had a panic attack that it hit you so soon and so hard. Next time. Take small hits just to get a buzz going then if you feel like you can handle it do a little more don't go all out tho. And make sure its actually weed you are smoking not some fake stuff!
